Financial Controller

About the Role:

We are looking for a Financial Controller who will join our office. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the company, working closely with our CFO, and other stakeholders both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

● Preparation of periodic and yearly financial reports.

● Generation of financial reports for senior leadership.

● Assisting in monthly book closings, budget preparation, and budget versus actual reporting.

● Oversee daily operations of financial activities and third-party bookkeepers.

● Manage the company’s cash flow, both crypto and FIAT.

● Keep track of accounts payable and receivable.

● Work closely with external auditors, and comply with annual statutory audits, government reporting requirements, and tax filings.

● Assist in the design, implementation, and improvement of financial procedures, internal control, and accounting policies.

Qualifications:

● An accounting degree from a leading educational institution - a must

● CPA with Big 4 accounting firms experience - a must

● 4+ years of relevant work experience, out of which at least 2 years in either a global high-tech organization as a controller/assistant, or as a manager in a big 4 firm.

● Experience or familiarity with crypto/blockchain - an advantage

● Highest standards of accuracy and precision, highly organized and detail-oriented

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced global company, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
