Customer Engagement Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Customer Engagement Specialist to join our growing product team. In this role, you will become the champion for our existing product, focusing on maximizing user retention, engagement, and lifetime value (LTV) through strategic internal marketing initiatives. You will leverage your deep product knowledge, analytical skills, and expertise in customer engagement platforms (CEPs) to craft targeted campaigns and measure their effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing client data and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and execute internal marketing campaigns using various channels such as newsletters, in-app messaging, push notifications, and SMS, tailored to specific user segments and goals.
- Partner with product management to ensure marketing initiatives align with product roadmap and address user needs.
- Leverage Customer.io to automate segmentation, personalize messaging, and optimize campaign performance.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as retention rates, engagement metrics, and LTV to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- A/B test different messaging, strategies, and tactics to identify what resonates best with users.
- Create and maintain internal marketing assets such as email templates, push notification copy, and in-app messages.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in mobile marketing and fintech.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in internal marketing or customer engagement, preferably B2C mobile apps.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools.
- Proven ability to track and measure campaign performance using KPIs.
- Experience with customer engagement platforms (CEPs) is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of user retention and engagement strategies in the mobile space.
- A financial or fintech background is a plus.
