System Validation Engineer (HW)

SatixFy is a leading Provider of ASIC’s, SW, Multibeam electronically steered antennas and complete systems for communication satellites as well as ground and airborne terminals. Located in Israel, UK, Bulgaria and US, SatixFy is a technology leader in satellite communication.

The system validation group is looking for an excellent System validation engineer to join the multidiscipline team and develop tests, automation as well as execute and debug system failures to ensure system and product uncompromising quality.

Job description:

• Defining and Developing Test setups, Test Procedures (sanity, functionality, regression) and automated tests (ATE) for new Silicon and new SW features.
• Develop and write automated tests for HW and analog interfaces.
• Executing and debugging Silicon Validation tests – HW, RF, SW.
• Executing debug sessions and testing from Silicon level up to a complete system. Qualifying functionality and performance.
• Develop, maintain and improve automation infrastructure.
• Team Player, hands-on execution: integration and feature/product enabling, bring up and debug activities, regression automation tests of satellite systems.

Requirements:

• BSc. or MSc. in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years proven experience in system validation including HW, SW and Operating System
• Proven experience in Python Coding for test automation development
• Proven experience in HW testing and debugging including using test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, oscilloscopes, signal and vector generators, network analyser etc.
• Experience with standard interfaces testing (SPI, I2C, UART, QSPI, SERDES etc.)
• Experience with communication protocols (UDP,TCP etc.) – Advantage
• Independent, self-motivated, team player and multitasking capabilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English
