We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Engineer with expertise in HALT and HASS testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge in Salt Mist, Environmental, and Materials Engineering, providing a comprehensive approach to testing within our organization. This role requires experience collaborating with test labs and a background in setting up testing procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient testing processes, preventing excessive testing, and managing relationships with R&D and external labs.

Your day to day will include:

• Demonstrate proficiency in Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) and Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) methodologies to ensure product reliability and durability.
• Leverage previous experience in Salt Mist, Environmental, and Materials engineering to enhance testing protocols and address specific product challenges.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with test labs, including establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Coordinate with Research and Development (R&D) teams and external labs to set up comprehensive testing procedures aligned with product requirements.
• Ensure that testing remains focused and efficient, avoiding unnecessary and excessive procedures.
• Familiarity with a wide range of tests offered by labs, differentiating between essential requirements and nice-to-have tests. Ability to explain the significance and impact of each test to non-technical stakeholders.
• Showcase expertise in building and working with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.
• Experience with safety and EMC testing and standards.
• Proven track record of RCA assessment and driving reliability improvements based upon the root cause data

You’d be a good fit if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in test engineering roles.
• Proven expertise in HALT, HASS, Salt Mist, Environmental, and Materials engineering.
• Strong understanding of test lab operations and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with R&D, external labs, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in building Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) is a plus.
• Safety and EMC experience - nice to have
