HW Testing Practical Engineer

Vectorious has developed the world’s first in-heart microcomputer and is on a mission to transform heart failure treatment. As part of our first in-human clinical study, we have successfully implanted our sensory device in patients across Europe, while demonstrating a huge potential in helping millions of people living with heart failure to take control and manage their disease. As an increasingly growing company we’ve been accepted to FDA’s prestige Breakthrough Device Designation program.

Now, we are looking for a talented HW Testing Practical Engineer to join our HW team.

Responsibilities:

• Front line of the HW team for working with production, Integration and support team.
• Support, HW designs, schematic and board layout.
• Electrical measurements on PCBs, utilizing standard electric testing equipment (power supply, scope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, etc.)
• Write test procedures, conduct experiments, analyze data, write and present technical reports with conclusions and recommendations.
• Experiments at the sub-system and system level – design experiments, write experiment protocols, build experimental set-ups, prove the robustness of the experimental setup, conduct experiments, analyze data, write and present technical report with conclusions and recommendations.
• PCBs bring up and debugging of existing cards.
• Failure analysis – failure restoration, debugging, fixing problems.
• Technical support to engineers – soldering etc.
• Follow the safety testing such as EMC etc.

Qualification:

• At least 5 years’ experience in testing of complex analog systems, as a practical engineer (Technician is also welcomed with more than 5 years).
• Hands on.
• Ability to solder, cut & try then repeat, and make it work.
• Out of the BOX thinking
• Team Player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter, ability to work autonomously with can-do and positive attitude.
• Ability to see the bigger picture when dealing with complex and detailed problems.
