The Customer Supply Chain Operations Lead oversees a broad range of activities and services related to on-time delivery of materials, 3PL performance, Quality Operations and Inventory control for our local Israel Site in Kiryat Gat. In this role, you will lead a team comprised of both direct and indirect reports who are responsible for directing logistics operations from international & regional warehouses into customer clean rooms.

Job Mission

Ensure excellence in all aspects of local warehousing, last-mile transportation, In-Fab material handling, quality & inventory control across Israel. Ensure that daily operations perform within SLA, cost, scope and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

Performance Management

• Manage site operations teams responsible for warehousing, transportation, material handling & quality at a customer site.
• Monitor performance of third party logistics (3PL) providers to uphold contractual service level agreements and OTD targets.
• Setup of cleanroom services on customer premises for ASML; must be able to work inside a fab for several hours per day during site setup without restrictions
• Ensure sufficient staffing in place for local 3rd party Warehouse and In-Fab Logistics Operations while driving efficient operations and identifying constraints before they occur.
• Oversee the execution of Value Added Services (VAS) performed by local vendors and 3PL’s
• Manage the return, repair & inspection of tool quality programs with external vendors & direct reports
• Ensure proper RCA on DOA materials to prevent quality escalations inside customer fabs by managing preventative maintenance program and clean room irregularity inspection process.
  
  

• Determine annual staffing and infrastructure requirements based on business growth
• Align with local account teams to determine potential customer growth to ensure that local infrastructure can meet the increase in demand.
• Drive cost saving initiatives as directed by Supply Chain Country Management.
  
  

• Manage and improve both internal and external customer relationships, communication and performances on a day-to-day basis.
• Report out to Senior Management on SLA performance, improvements & infrastructure development.
  
  

• Lead hiring of material quality planners, logistics coordinators & contractors.

• High focus on process standardization and efficiencies via LEAN
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or other relevant field preferred
• Knowledge of business complexity, supply chain and/or relevant industry
• Exceptional Excel, analytical and ERP (SAP) system skills are preferred.
• Must be capable of defining, analyzing and resolving complicated problems.
• Experience in implementing of new processes across the supply chain against agreed costs
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with semiconductor Fab or Cleanroom environments
• Construction safety knowledge beneficial

• Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing, logistics, process mapping and project management techniques highly valued.

• Competencies in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of ASML supply chain procedures is preferred

• Position is based in Kiryat Gat, Israel
• This position is reporting to the Supply Chain Country Manager of Israel
• Travel up to 50% within EU; primarily in the first 6 to 8 months only; reducing to 10% afterwards.
