The Structural Engineer I is responsible for working under the supervision of Senior Engineers to develop structural engineering solutions to the design of buildings and other load-bearing structures.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Collaborates with other disciplines and contractors to support the development of design deliverables such as drawings and specifications
• Reviews shop drawings and submittals to understand how design and construction are inter-related
• Attends construction and design verification walks and submit report of observations
• Prepares structural engineering calculations and finite element modelling under the supervision of a Senior Engineer
• Works closely with design and technical teams in leading the development of design deliverables such as reports and Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications
• Analyses and designs the basic structural components of a building or other structure
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

• Education/License/Registration/Certification-
• Bachelor’s in Engineering required· Master’s Degree preferred· Nation Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Record recommendedYears of Experience1+ years of experience
