Data Engineer

nSure.ai is an advanced payment fraud prevention platform for sellers of digital goods, gaming, crypto, and fintech. Its bespoke ML models help merchants to realize their true business potential, increase revenue, decrease costs, minimize churn, and mitigate fraud expenses.

As a data engineer, you'll create and manage scalable ELT processes, ensuring high-quality data for stakeholders. Additionally, you'll mentor analysts in Python-based analysis, develop tools for streamlined analysis, and transform raw data into actionable insights following industry standards in data engineering and governance.

Requirements:

• Highly analytical and logical thinker with 2 years of experience in development, data analysis and engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (preferred), Systems Engineering, Industrial engineering, Mathematics or a related field
• Exceptional service-oriented skills, adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored, professional solutions through effective communication
• Strong SQL proficiency
• Experienced with Snowflake ETL / ELT processes (preferably with AWS)
• Experience in dbt and other data warehousing and ETL tools - advantage
• Python - significant advantage
• Javascript - advantage
• Organized, plans ahead and can see the big picture
• Thorough, pays attention to details and ties loose ends

• Develop and maintain datasets that are reliable and easy to analyze
• Develop and maintain advanced data tools for the analysts
• Provide well-governed data pipelines

• Implement, maintain and update nSure.ai’s data architecture to be aligned with the business needs
