Presale Engineer JB-3083

We're seeking a Sales Engineer with in-depth knowledge and experience with wide area and data center switch and router products to execute technical pre-sales activities. This is a customer facing role responsible to present technical solutions to customers, perform lab and field evaluation tests, train channel partners, gather customer technical requirements, and position against competitive solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

· Execute pre-sales activities in the design, build and delivery of networks for specified architectures. Be considered a subject matter expert and utilize expertise in positioning the company's solutions and products

· Work closely with the company's Sales Directors in presenting solutions and providing technical thought leadership of proposed network solutions to customers and partners.

· Conduct product presentations to customers and provide solution recommendations to customers via white board presentations and conference calls.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years of technical experience with IP/MPLS router products in a communications service provider environment - a must.

· Familiarity and experience with Cisco and Juniper IP Routing solutions - a must.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, must be able to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously - a must.

· Ability to positively engage with customers, manufacturer partners, and internal sales and technical staff - a must.
