QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• work closely with the software development team during the product design phase.
• Define clear test plans that cover all use cases and scenarios.
• Development and execute of automation tests cases and test suites using Java.
• Analyzing Java and Python automation suites
• Collaborate in a cohesive, energetic, cross-functional and open environment.
• Solve technical problems and improve our systems.
• Execute testing to verify functional behavior of the products and to ensure its quality.
• Verify fixes of customer-found (support) bugs and release fixes to production
• Estimate, plan and coordinate testing activities within the scrum and with the automation team
• Work independently with minimal oversight in a dynamic Scrum team Environment
  
  

Desired Skills And Experience

• 2+ years of experience in software testing of enterprise-grade, client-server software products
• 2+ years of experience in the networking industry
• Good understanding of TCP and OSI model
• Programing skills in Java
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Excellent analytics, problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to review requirement and build testing automation coverage.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and process
• Ability to function autonomously and work through ambiguity and rapid change
• Experience in testing of complex SW applications
• Fluent English
• Good familiarity with Linux shell commands (user level)
• Team player, strong sense of urgency attitude, creative with good communication skills.
  
  

Advantages

• B Sc. in computer science or an equivalent engineering field
• Programing skills in Python
• Hands on experience with Networking/Security vendors such as Cisco/Juniper/CheckPoint/Fortinet etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of Cyber security, related risks and mitigation technologies
• CCNA/CCNP is an advantage
• Experience with web-based network management system testing
