Clinical Development Center Director

The position
As our Clinical Development Centre (CDC) Director, you will drive clinical operations in the CDC and ensure a sustainable organisation that is ready to capture future portfolio needs.

You will do this by overseeing CDC Organization development and execution of short- and long-term plans to maximize the clinical operations opportunities/possibilities.

You will collaborate cross functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Medical teams, Regulatory Affairs, Supply chain, Quality, P&O, Finance and affiliate management teams.

As a people manager, you will ensure performance management as well as team well-being and motivation and promote a culture of continuous learning and growth by driving formal succession and talent review processes for the team.

Qualifications

As our CDC Director we expect you to have:

• Master´s university degree in life or natural sciences.
• 8+ years of proven experience as a Clinical trials Head/Director
• Management of a Clinical trials unit including a role of managing managers
• Strong track record in clinical trial execution at country level, including clinical quality (audits and inspections) and training
• Effective comunication skills - to discuss strategies in a way that impacts key stakeholders and able to build trusted relationships
• People management skills- developing, coaching, and giving feedback
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Hebrew

The CDC in Israel is a vital part of our global network. Located in Israel, our team is dedicated to promoting and protecting the health of the population. With a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere, we work closely with the medical community to address public health challenges. The Clinical Operations Department is a dynamic team with highly skilled and ambitious colleagues responsible for the planning and execution of clinical trial activities in accordance with the Product Development Plans of NovoNordisk.
