The Role
We're looking for an Assistant Controller to join our Finance team in Tel Aviv. You'll report directly to the CFO, collaborating closely to drive the team's achievements and overall success.
In this position, you'll be part of our expanding Finance department. The right person for the Assistant Controller job should be a team player at heart, who aspires to specialize in the US Market, overcome professional challenges, and grow with the role and the company.
The role is highly flexible in working times, hybrid, requires at least 2 days of work from our Tel Aviv office in the afternoon-evening hours.
Be Accountable For:
- Involvement in the daily financial processes of the company.
- Manages accounting records and production of financial reports once a month including consolidation.
- Establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
- Ensuring that the company makes accounts payable payments on time and in line with the budget including marketing, contractors, insurance, property tax and utilities.
- Coordinate the audit and tax report process and ensure that the auditors have all the information they need to render an accurate judgment of the company's financial statements and tax reports.
- Make sure the data on our CRM system is updated as in the bookkeeping system.
- Drive system enhancements and identify opportunities to optimize processes.
- Collaborating with colleagues and managers.
The Right Person:
- BA degree in accounting and CPA certification.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Assistant Controller
- High level of English – in writing, speaking and reading.
- Knowledge of US GAAP.
- Independent, self-starter and fast-learner, accurate and well-organized with ability to prioritize.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a team-player at heart.
- Versatile and flexible, with ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment.
- Tech Savvy.
- Proficient in Office Suite & excellent Excel skills.
- Previous experience with NetSuite / QuickBooks – ADVANTAGE
