Weapon Systems Installation Engineer

We are hiring a Weapon Systems Installation Engineer at the Defense Systems Facility in the Missiles and Space Division.

What will you do:

• Defining and designing systems within ships/vessels.
• Responsibility for all mechanical and electrical installations of weapon systems components on ships/vessels.
• Traveling to customers abroad for work/surveys on ships.

What We're Looking For:

• Practical Engineer or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical fields - Mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in planning and designing rooms on ships/vessels - Mandatory.
• Writing documents required for installations and preparation for work - Advantage.
• Familiarity with ship design, definitions, and equipment adaptations - Advantage.
• Familiarity with maritime standards - Advantage.
• Experience working with computer applications such as VISIO, Word, Excel, Access, STP, AutoCAD - Advantage.
• Experience working with customers - Advantage.
