ATE Hardware Engineer

ElectReon has developed a wireless charging system, for electrical vehicles, while parked and on the go. ElectReon's wireless charging solution reduces the need for heavy batteries and flattens the electricity demand curve. Our end-to-end solution includes underground infrastructure, vehicle-side technology, and advanced charging management software.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be an experienced practical electronics engineer with great teamwork skills. You will be eager to learn new fields and have plenty of new and interesting ideas to enrich the laboratory staff and the product. Also, we are looking for someone who loves to work with their hands and has deep insights on analog and digital electronics.

What you will do

​You will be a member of our small but highly visible electronics lab team, developing power, electronics and HW solutions for our Electric Road.

• Designing and building R&D set-ups & test equipment
• Manufacturing and wiring electrical cable harnesses
• Electronic Packaging and mechanical / electrical integration
• Working with high voltage setups and equipment
• Preparation of assembly instructions and assembly files
• Working with subcontractors

Requirements

• Electronics Practical Engineer or BSc Degree in electronics - Must
• Experience with R&D test equipment and PCB bring-up
• Experience with building Automatic Test Equipment for PCB
• Experience in wiring according to electrical drawings and wiring electrical cabinets
• Experience in assembly according to electronic schema
• Ability to resolve hardware issues.
• Knowledge and experience in welding and mechanical assemblies – Mandatory
• Experience with soldering

Advantages

• Experience with electronic design tools (OrCAD, Allegro, E-Plan, etc.)
• Knowledg of wiring and cabling standards in electrical cabinets for the automotive industry
• Experience with PCB design flow and tools
• Experience with Arduino coding
