UG Labs is looking for an NLP Data Scientist to join our growing team. In this role, you will help us implement conversational experiences for kids for the gaming and toys industries using the latest in generative AI.
Position Overview
In this role, you will:
- Develop NLP scalable solutions
- Build CAI development tools, for online and offline environments
- Analyze and refine content implementation strategies to optimize business, product, and user experience
- Implement and assess practical applications of LLM research findings in user-facing applications, creating scalable, impactful tools and best-practices
- Be the go-to-expert for building the best conversational flows, using cutting edge technologies and prompt-engineering techniques
- Perform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback about potential tool improvements
- Develop scalable testing and evaluating methods for LLMs, allowing for rigorous and systematic evaluation of different models, parameters, and techniques
What are we looking for?
- Proven ability to build NLP-based tools, including prompt engineering experience
- Very strong Python experience in development, from ideation to production
- Good knowledge of ML libraries,evaluation methods and LLMs
- Experience working collaboratively in a team environment, particularly with non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies in conversational AI and language models
Nice to have:
- BS.c. or higher in NLP, Computer Science, or related field
