C Developer

1. Characterization, development, and support for the regular operation of the trading systems in the stock exchange.

2. Writing characterization documents, procedures and summaries of experiments as needed, in Hebrew and English.

3. Planning and defining the tests for the relevant systems including planning functional tests, load tests and performance tests.

4. Working closely with the various stock exchange teams regarding the aforementioned systems, including defining requirements, monitoring the execution of tasks, troubleshooting, and more.

5. Providing an immediate response to problems in the aforementioned systems and handling customer requests in real time.

Skills needed

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science and/or a graduate of an elite technological unit.

2. 5 years of development experience in C and C++ in a Linux environment.

3. Proven experience in Object Oriented Design & Development and Design Patterns.

4. Expertise and experience in development, Multi-threading, Realtime - and high performance (latency, throughput) in a Linux environment.

5. Development experience in JAVA - an advantage.

6. Experience writing scripts in bash and Python - an advantage.

7. Familiarity with Linux Internals - an advantage.

8. Development experience with Boost - an advantage.

9. Experience in developing TCP, UDP, and Multicast communication - an advantage.

10. Knowledge of trading systems and financial systems - an advantage.

11. Good human relations, a sense of service and a proven ability to maintain normal working relationships with internal and external parties.

12. Ability to study independently, perform a variety of tasks at the same time while maintaining schedules and professional prioritization.
