Communications Consultant

Position Overview:

As a Communications Consultant at Shalom Tel Aviv, your role involves developing and implementing strategic communication plans for clients. This includes crafting engaging content, managing media relations, and ensuring effective message delivery to target audiences. You will need to stay current with industry trends, work closely with clients and internal teams, and when needed manage crisis communication. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with client objectives and brand values
• Initiate and create engaging content
• Manage media relations, building and maintaining relationships with journalists 
• Conduct research to thoroughly understand client industries, target audiences, and market trends
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure cohesive and effective communication approaches
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies, making necessary adjustments for optimization
• Provide strategic guidance and rapid response plans for crisis communication situations
• Stay informed on the latest trends and best practices in communication and public relations

Qualifications:

• At least one year of professional experience as a communications consultant
• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft clear and persuasive messages
• Advanced proficiency in English
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, developing innovative communication solutions
• Knowledge of the Israeli media landscape
• Sensitivity to cultural nuances and a global perspective
• Strong skills in team collaboration and relationship building
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting strategies as needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
