Algorithm Engineer

A company in the Video/Audio domain specializes in wireless transmission of high-quality video – capable of delivering video from any source without latency and in high resolution, wirelessly. Their products are considered a standard in major film industries worldwide and are essential equipment in every professional cinematographer's toolkit.

Recently, they have been sold to an American conglomerate and are expanding into other industries.

The company is located in the Sharon region, offers remote work, employs 50 people in Israel, and has a total of 1700 employees globally.

The position entails:

• Conducting research and development of algorithms in Signal Processing and Video Compression.
• Coding in MATLAB to implement and optimize algorithms.
• Managing the entire product development lifecycle, from initial research to production, for both new and existing products.
• Conducting literature reviews, with a primary focus on research published in IEEE, to stay abreast of advancements in the field.
• Working extensively with Digital Signal Processing (DSP), 4K video, Wireless-WiFi 802.11 Implementation, Algorithmic specifications, Low-latency technologies, Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM), Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO), and other related technologies.
• Collaborating closely with hardware and RF teams to integrate algorithmic solutions seamlessly.
• Collaborating with software and system engineering teams to ensure the effective implementation of algorithms into the overall product architecture.

Qualified

• A Master's degree (MSc) or higher is preferred.
• 5 years of experience as an algorithm developer.
• Experience with Digital signal processing
• Experience with Video compression such as H.265.
• Experience with OFDM MIMO modems
• Fluency in Matlab coding.
