About Us: TooGoodBoys is an early-stage startup in the field of digital entertainment that has set the goal of bringing innovative AI-driven gaming experiences to the market. The founding team currently consists of seasoned entrepreneurs with backgrounds in engineering, game design, and business. We have been working on our first title and are seeking a passionate, visionary individual to join us as a Co-Founder and Art Director. Role Overview: As a Co-Founder and Art Director, you will play a pivotal role in setting the creative direction of our products, building and leading a graphics design department within our startup. You will collaborate closely with the founding team to define and execute the artistic vision, ensuring our applications are visually stunning and emotionally engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Co-Founders on design and artistic vision: Set the visual tone and style for our products.
• Hire, Lead and Inspire: Build, mentor, and lead a talented team of artists, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other co-founders and team members to integrate art seamlessly into the overall product design and user experience.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of all visual elements, ensuring they meet the highest standards of artistic excellence.
• Market Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to ensure our products stand out in the market.
• Hands-on approach: willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done, especially during the current founding stage.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of all artwork.

Qualifications:

• Excellent creative vision.
• Passion for Interactive experiences, entertainment and gaming.
• Deep understanding of what makes such products graphically appealing, engaging and immersive.
• Proven experience in the technical know-hows of concept art, 2D animation, 3D animation, 3d modeling, texture art.
• Startup mindset and willingness to work in a small founding team environment.
• Proven experience in leading and inspiring a team of artists to deliver exceptional work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey artistic concepts and ideas.
• Adept at finding creative solutions to challenges and turning them into opportunities.

Desired technical background:

• Proven experience as creative team lead, an Art Director in the video game industry, film(cartoons), VFX.
• Strong background in at least one of the following: concept art, 2D animation, 3D animation, 3d modeling, texture art.
• Experience working with game engines such as Unreal and Unity3D in any capacity - advantage.
• Professional level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), 3D software such as 3DS Max, Maya etc. Video post production and VFX design tools are nice to have.
• Creative work portfolio -advantage
