Wireless Communication System Engineer

The Intelligence, EW and Communications division at ELTA is hiring a Wireless Communication System Engineer.

What will you do:

● Leading the development process of transceivers in a variety of challenging projects and different wireless communication configurations.

● Leading the characterization, architecture, and defining the engineering requirements.

● Writing design documents and tests

● Accompanying the engineering aspects of the systems with internal engineering bodies and external subcontractors - algorithms, software, hardware, firmware, mechanics, and combinations.

What we are looking for:

● Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, specialization in communication - mandatory.

● Master's degree in electrical engineering - advantage.

● In-depth knowledge of digital communication and modems Knowledge of radio systems (RF. PHY)

● Proven experience in the development of digital transceivers - a must.

● "Hands-On" work experience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzer or VSA - a must.

● Experience in characterizing, defining, and writing specifications and detailed technical design documents for multidisciplinary teams: firmware, software, and hardware.

● Knowledge and experience in satellite communications - an advantage.

● Knowledge and experience in cellular communication - an advantage.
