Responsibilities

As a Data Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Leading global transit data processes, to support Moovit's data growth and revenue KPIs
• Integrate transit data to Moovit transit systems and products (such as transit schedules, prices, and other data enrichments)
• Work closely with local and remote country managers - gather requirements, provide support and suggest solutions for data challenges
• Work closely with development teams - translate gathered requirements into internal tools developments while monitoring and ensuring clear communication throughout the development lifecycle
• Promote and Support improvements to the transit data integration workflows
• Monitor, Investigate, and troubleshoot problems reported by external or internal users and automated tests

Requirements

• Proven experience (2+ years) in data integration and working with databases
• Proven experience in tasks and/or project management
• Strong sense of ownership and initiative to fix problems and optimize systems that are both inside and outside your area of responsibility
• Bachelor's degree in a Data related field, such as: Information systems, Industrial Engineering and Management, Economics
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Able to take and lead projects and tasks, both independently and as a team member
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Proactive, driven, detail-oriented individual
• Strong work ethic, productivity, commitment, and a can-do attitude
• Desire to see projects through to timely completion
• Basic knowledge in Python and/or GIS - an advantage
• Basic knowledge in project tracking (Jira, Monday) - an advantage
