Personal Computer Technician

Company Description

The National Library of Israel serves as the central research library for Israel and for the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the Humanities fields, with an emphasis on Jewish Studies, Middle Eastern cultures, Asia-Africa and Islam. The library is also responsible for collecting the literary treasures of the Jewish people and preserving the continuity of Jewish and Israeli culture. It is located in Jerusalem and strives to collect, preserve, cultivate, and endow the treasures of knowledge, heritage, and culture in general with an emphasis on the Land of Israel, the State of Israel, and the Jewish people in particular.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Personal Computer Technician at the National Library of Israel. The technician will be responsible for providing technical support, printer support, computer repair, and troubleshooting for desktop computers. The role is located in Jerusalem, but some work from home is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Experience in Desktop Computers, Printer Support, and Technical Support
• Knowledge of Computer Repair and Troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Related field is a plus
• Experience with library technology and knowledge of library systems is a plus
