Job Description

The Sr. VFX and Audio Mixing Artist at Western Digital’s Flash Division will be responsible for creating compelling visual effects and seamlessly integrating audio elements to enhance audiovisual material for global campaigns. This is an opportunity to pioneer in shaping our brand’s audiovisual language and contribute to establishing an in-house production studio from the ground up. The ideal candidate should have a diverse skill set, including expertise in visual effects creation and audio mixing and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement visual effects that enhance campaigns’ overall quality and impact.
• Work closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members to integrate VFX seamlessly into the overall project vision.
• Seamlessly integrate audio elements, ensuring a cohesive and immersive experience for the audience.
• Play an integral role in the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to execution.
• Ensure consistency and a high standard of visual effects across all projects, aligning with project goals and brand guidelines.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance projects throughout the production process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating innovative techniques into the creative process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in film production, Media, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of demonstrated experience as a Visual Effects and Audio Mixing Artist.
• A solid portfolio demonstrating their skills in creating stunning video and audio content.
• Expertise in industry-standard software and tools.
• Strong creative thinking abilities, translating concepts into visually appealing effects and audio projects.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work seamlessly within a creative team.
• Effective project management skills to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and industry trends.
