As the VP finance, you will have a unique & diverse role - leading all the financial activities, for both LocalizeOS and Madlan our sister company. Madlan is a real estate platform revolutionizing the way people buy and rent homes in Israel. As a leading real estate dedicated marketplace, and a valuable tool for both agents & buyers, Madlan provides useful information, using big data algorithms & artificial intelligence that facilitates the purchase of real estate with greater transparency & trust.

You will join its leadership team and lead all aspects of our financial activities, from strategic planning to reporting, leading a team of professionals, work with senior management and drive processes across the organization.

This role reports directly to the CEO.

Under your ownership, you will lead :

• Work closely as part of the leadership team on strategic initiatives (funding, budgeting, investor relations, and cross-company initiatives)
• Lead the company’s legal work, relying on external council (US and Israel)
• Oversee the preparation of the company’s financial statements, A/R, internal management reporting, and controls, including budget monitoring.
• Oversee payroll, option grants, and additional finance-related processes (US and Israel).
• Manage the day-to-day bank accounts, invoicing, payments, and vendor negotiations.
• Prepare detailed budgets and provide monthly reports of usage to leadership
• Deliver key financial forecasting, along with insightful performance reporting and analysis
• Set targets for and manage the finance team
• Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance
  
  

• Overall experience of 5+ years post-internship in the industry
• At least 2+ years experience in a leading role in a high-tech company
• Degree in Accounting from a leading institute; CPA required
• Previous internship in one of the big 4 accounting firms specializing in the high-tech sector
• Previous experience working in a US-based startup company
• Experience in financial analysis & forecasting
• Previously led a company through growth stages, able to think and act strategically while maintaining a hands-on approach
• Previous experience working with VC’s and senior management
• Passionate and able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Very high proficiency in English
• MBA is an advantage
