Technical Project Manager

Ownera’s vision is to be the Global Network interconnecting all regulated financial institutions so that investors can instantly own trade and leverage any asset; using the FinP2P network an open-source decentralised protocol, enabling instant trading across any asset class and ledger. The company has just completed its $20m Series A round and is investing in growth.

Responsibilities:

• Technical management of projects of complex deployments with large regulated corporate clients including
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Coordinate with teams to remove roadblocks and keep projects on track.
• Ensure all projects adhere to the company’s project management methodology and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, QA, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Define, prioritise, and clarify requirements; work with others to understand use cases, features, and details.
• Work with technology resources on both client and company to ensure good communication, coordination, documentation, and task management.

Requirements:

• Ideally 4-5 years of experience leading and coordinating technical projects within a financial institution or fast-growing, deeply technical environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Good analytical, planning, and organisational skills
• Detail oriented with desire to help tackle challenges both technically and otherwise by getting hands-on involved
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with project management software/tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Github, Mondays, etc.)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and be able to context switch within a very fluid environment
• Experience working with many cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of project launches
• Help to create new processes for a startup environment and contribute tactically to its growth
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence improvements, solutions, and resolve challenges
• Desire to work on documentation and knowledge-base improvement
• Some experience in programming, and even more specifically with API/SDK deployments
• Involvement in managing technical integration efforts with clients and/or software vendors is an advantage
• Experience with software development organization, servicing financial and banking institutions is a plus
