About the team:

Perlis Cyber Protection Labs is responsible for researching innovative breakthrough product-oriented technologies for various cyber security products such as EDR, SASE, Threat Intelligence and more.

Perlis Cyber Protection Labs opens a new Cyber security innovation team to incorporate latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for cyber security needs.

The Cyber-AI team is an innovation hub, responsible for leading the innovation research projects that use latest AI technologies and breakthroughs to improve and solve wide product ranging cyber security challenges.

We are looking for Cyber-AI team leader to build and lead the innovation hub.

Team responsibilities

· Map cyber security trend and problems that can use AI models in new manners / methods and determine which to use

· Design, plan, maintain and operate all research stages from ideation till productization.

Team leader responsibilities

· Define the team’s research roadmap autonomously;

· Team building - recruitment, training, etc.

· Manage the research from ideation to productization; Including the performance, operational and testing phases.

· Work in collaboration with the data scientists, engineers, devops and security experts.

· Tutor, coach and mentor researchers in the team

· Communicate with stakeholders, domain experts, leaders, management, and customers about cyber security challenges and AI advancements and usages

· Communicate with the HQ Domain Experts to get their supports in formalizing the problems to be solved;

· Act as the technological leader working with Israel and oversea experts.

Team leader Requirements

· 3+ years of experience as a tech/research team leader.

· 5+ years of hands-on experience in cyber security. Cyber-defense & file/endpoint security – advantage.

· 2+ years of experience in applied AI/ML. Experience with applications of AI/ML in security – advantage.

· Passion & motivation, with leadership capabilities.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with “sales” nature.

· Autodidact, enthusiastic about cyber security & AI.

· Innovative and creative. Thinking outside the box.

· MSc in computer science or engineering in related field / BSc with strong familiarity with academic research.

· Fluent English
