An International B2C company is looking for a bright passionate, agile and highly motivated Head of User Acquisition to join its Marketing team.
This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), playing a crucial role in the company's leadership team.
Our ideal candidate is a thinker who has the ability to lead and mentor the team, solve complex challenges, create new solutions, analyze performance, and identify distinct findings that can be turned into optimizing tasks. Ultimately, this individual's goal should be to stay ahead of the curve and help the company achieve continuous growth to improve the bottom line.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing development and execution of marketing strategies to achieve user growth objectives and improve the funnel CVR.
- Setting, optimizing and scaling paid campaigns from all channels in order to hit the company goals
- Track and identify market trends and competitor’s strategies into a real-time and take action accordingly
- Generate performance reports for all major metrics, goals and KPIs
- Provide creative suggestions and ad ideas overseeing the creation and optimization of advertising materials, creatives and landing pages, including providing detailed briefs to guide the development process.
- Run ongoing A/B Testing on different activity parameters
- To initiate new methods and seek new channels and opportunities to meet the company's potential customers in the right spot.
- Partner Engagement: Identify potential partners, initiate engagement, and collaborate to align with compliance and advertising policy requirements, expanding the reach and effectiveness of our marketing efforts.
- Team Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team, including organizing training sessions and workshops to enhance team skills.
- Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes that could impact user acquisition strategies.
- Collaborate with Product and Analytics Teams: Work closely with product and analytics teams to understand user behavior, funnel optimization opportunities, and product features that can enhance user acquisition efforts.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, inspire, and mentor the user acquisition team to foster a high-performance culture. Develop individual team members’ skills through regular feedback, tailored training programs, and clear career progression paths.
- Hands-On Campaign Management: Directly manage key campaigns, demonstrating best practices in campaign setup, optimization, and analysis to set a standard of excellence for the team.
- Customer acquisition cost (CAC, CPA)
- New customers (FTOs)

- Full unit economics (growth and efficiency, attribution model, AOV, LTV)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing performance-based campaigns on Search, Native and Social
- 2+ years of managerial experience of performance teams
- Proven track record of managing large-scale advertising budgets ($1M+ / Month) and delivering successful results.
- Experience in B2C campaign management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, Vlookup, and advanced formulas for data manipulation and analysis.
- Working in global company (in growing startup - advantage)
- Fluent English - writing and speaking
- A can-do approach, growth mindset, adaptability, and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues that may hinder user acquisition efforts.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies and adapt plans based on data-driven insights and changing market dynamics.
- Innovation: Encourage a culture of innovation and experimentation within the team to explore new growth hacks and marketing channels.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and grow a team in a dynamic environment, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, team engagement, and professional development.
- Additional language; German / Swedish / Danish
- Experience working within regulatory environments and navigating legal frameworks to identify compliant strategies and solutions.
- eCommerce experience.
- Familiarity with other media platforms and advertising channels.
