Director of Engineering

A startup specializing in the realms of 3D and advertising has developed an innovative platform that enables the seamless integration of interactive advertisements into various gaming environments. This includes mobile games on iOS and Android, PC, consoles, and more.

The company is centrally located in Tel Aviv, within walking distance from the train station. Employees enjoy the flexibility of remote work two days a week, and the team comprises approximately 100 members.

About the role-

• Manage the SDK team and provide oversight for another team, reporting directly to the CTO, who is also a founder.
• Drive technological and managerial advancements within the team.
• Oversee a flat management structure of 10 employees, led by 3 Tech leads, each responsible for a specific product, resulting in a total of 3 products.
• Team specializes in versatile development, focusing on C++/C Low level, Native, Mobile, Java, Objective-C, JavaScript, Python.
• Work spans across various operating systems and environments: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux.
• Collaboration on GPU utilization, graphical engines, Unity, Geometry, OpenGL, OpenGLES, DirectX, Metal, 2D/3D computer graphics, NDK, XbUnrealox/PlayStation, image/video decoding, and construction/optimization of computer vision games, among other tasks..

Requirements-

● Proven experience in a leadership role within a software engineering team

● Experience in designing and developing complex systems from the ground up

● 10 years experience, with a deep understanding of C/C++ with at least three

years from the following platforms: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux

● Experience with additional programing languages used by the team: Java, ObjectiveC,

JavaScript, Python, C#

● Experience with 2D/3D computer graphics programming and working with popular

rendering engines such as DirectX, OpenGL, OpenGLES, and Metal

● Good grasp of 3D graphics-related math: vectors, matrices, view projections, geometry,

and linear algebra in general

● Familiarity with modern GPU architectures, and recent computer graphics development

techniques and optimizations

● Experience working with decoding image/video

● High level of English with excellent communication skills

● Committed to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and high-quality product

delivery
