Full Stack Team Leader

We are looking for a Full Stack Team Leader to take part in a great opportunity to build and design the next generation of SoftWeave platform.

As a team leader, you will play a key role in technical excellence, mentorship, and collaboration within our engineering teams.

Role Overview:

Lead a cross-functional team in developing a remote gaming server application, focusing on an event-based/reactive system.

Drive the integration and functionality of technologies like Microservices, Angular, Kafka, Redis, Mongo, and Postgres, with a strong emphasis on reactive programming using Spring boot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the design and development of the gaming server application with a focus on event-

based/reactive systems.

• Manage the entire software development life cycle, including ideation, design, development,

testing, and maintenance.

• Foster effective collaboration within the cross-functional team to integrate diverse technologies.

• Ensure the development of a robust Microservices architecture, maintaining performance and

scalability.

• Supervise and guide the team in implementing reactive programming solutions, with a

preference for Spring Boot WebFlux.

• Oversee data flow and system integration using Kafka, Redis, Mongo, and Postgres.

• Uphold software development standards and best practices, particularly in reactive and event-driven environments.

• Implement Agile methodologies and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and offer technical and project leadership.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to establish project goals, timelines, and resource allocation.

Required Skills:

• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional development teams.

• Proficiency in developing event-based or reactive solutions.

• Prior experience with Microservices architecture, at least one big project as a team lead.

• Solid understanding of software development practices and Agile frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Extensive experience in software development, with considerable time in a leadership role.

• Previous experience in gaming applications or similar complex systems is highly valued

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Spring Boot WebFlux is a significant plus.
• Experience with Kafka or similar technology is a significant plus
• Experience with NoSql DB
• Knowledge of the gaming industry and server-based applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Project management and Agile certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are beneficial.
