System Engineer

The ideal candidate will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot the company's rapidly expanding infrastructure. They will work alongside other engineers to ensure the highest levels of performance and ability, and manage any problems that arise.

Description:

· System engineer responsible for performance analysis in multi-disciplinary R&D projects, as well as implementation in the production line.

· Responsible for technical solution characterization and definition, as well as validation of final solution transfer of knowledge and design to production and service.

· Writes system specifications and follow-up on design activity until completion according to plan.

· Initiate and integrate multi-disciplinary features with other teams such as hardware, software, firmware, optics, mechanics, algorithms

· Theoretical and experimental system engineering to support state-of-the-art new and existing multidisciplinary optical measurement products.

· Define a system architecture consistent with the technical requirements

· Interfaces and coordinates with R&D disciplines , Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Production and other disciplines in Camtek.

· Reports to System Engineering team leader.

Requirements:

· B.Sc. in Engineering (preferred field in Electrical, Mechanics or Physics) – required.

· Proven experience in Multi-disciplinary system engineering – required.

· Very good knowledge of English (writing, reading and talking) – required.

· At least three years’ experience in developing multidisciplinary systems, combining electro-optical – mechanical systems.

· Proven experience in the semiconductor industry – an advantage.

· Creative approach, problem-solver mentality with an analytical mindset

Proven experience of performing thermal & vibration analysis – an advantage.

Performing root cause analysis at production lines - an advantage.

Hands-on and experience in system validation - an advantage.
