Company Controller - Temporary (8 months)

Smart Shooter is looking for a Company Controller for a temporary time frame of eight months.

Smart Shooter is a fast-growing Israeli based company developing revolutionary electro-optical system that disrupts modern battlefield by providing unique, advanced capabilities for ground troops and special forces. Smart Shooter’s products incorporate advanced computer vision and machine learning algorithms for fast target acquisition and tracking in complicated battle scenarios.

Responsibilities:

• managing and monitoring all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with applicable GAAP standards.
• Monitoring monthly and quarterly closing process, including preparing working papers, calculating accruals, tax calculations, and performing analytical procedures.
• Working closely with Company's external auditors on quarterly reviewed financials and annual audit.
• Monitor payroll process.
• Managing and monitoring the company’s budget.
• Monitoring R&D project’s planning and control.

Requirements:

• CPA, Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Experience in working at one of BIG4 firms - Advantage.
• Previous experience as company’s controller or assistant to Company’s controller. 
• Previous experience of working in a Hi-Tech company.
• Previous experience of working at manufacturing company- Advantage.
• Experience in working with Payroll Systems.
• Experience in working with worldwide subsidiaries – Advantage
• Familiarity with the Défense sector – Advantage
• Experience in working in ERP based environment (Priority knowledge -  advantage)
• Strong interpersonal skills & human relationship.
• Strong analytical skills.
