MyHeritage is looking for a Technical SEO Manager with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in international SEO, with a particular focus on technical aspects. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of HTML/CSS and JavaScript, and have extensive experience working with large-scale websites. In addition, he or she will have a proven track record collaborating with content teams to drive SEO success.

What you'll do

• Technical SEO audits: Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and address on-page optimization opportunities and issues for international websites.
• Website optimization: Implement technical SEO best practices, including optimizing site structure, meta tags, headings, schema markup, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings.
• Performance monitoring: Continuously monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software to track key performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• JavaScript: Leverage your understanding of JavaScript to ensure website elements and content are accessible to search engine crawlers and are indexed effectively.
• International SEO: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance visibility in various countries and regions, including handling hreflang tags, geo-targeting, and multilingual content optimization.
• Collaboration: Work closely with content teams to align SEO strategies with content creation efforts, ensuring the development of SEO-friendly content that ranks well in search results.
• Website scalability: Manage and optimize technical aspects of large websites, including addressing crawl budget, crawlability issues, XML sitemaps, and site speed optimization.
• Competitive analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, search engine algorithms, and competitor strategies to proactively identify opportunities and threats.
• Reporting: Generate regular SEO performance reports, highlighting key metrics, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

What you bring

• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in technical SEO, with a focus on international websites
• Solid grasp of HTML/CSS, and a working understanding of Javascript and how it affects SEO and experience in diagnosing and addressing technical SEO issues
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with SEO tools such as Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or similar — a must
• Experience working with large websites and platforms — an advantage
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of achieving measurable SEO results
• Strong command of Google Analytics and Google Search Console — a must
• Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Looker Studio — an advantage
• Knowledge of Python — an advantage
