DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for an eager and bright individual to join the DevOps team at INFINIDAT.

As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining our company's rapidly advancing infrastructure. Your expertise will be pivotal in both the design and ongoing management of our CI/CD processes. In collaboration with our Development teams, you will actively contribute to the evolution of our production infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and operation across both on-premises and cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for enhancing, and managing the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes for varius products.
• Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to improve automation of workflows, infrastructure, code testing and deployment of on-premise and cloud services.
• Monitor and analyze performance and stability issues.
• Rapidly identify and resolve problems in production systems.
• Implement best practices and design procedures.

Requirements:

• Experience in DevOps: Minimum 3 years working in a production environment.
• Cloud Proficiency: Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, and skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaaC).
• CI/CD Knowledge: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab-CI, and ArgoCD, and extensive experience with Git.
• Orchestration and Virtualization: Experience with VMware, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Monitoring and Logging Expertise: Capable of implementing systems using Prometheus and ELK for effective monitoring and logging.
• Scripting Abilities: Skilled in writing scripts in Python, Groovy, and Bash.
• Systems Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of operating systems, networking, and storage.
• Linux System Engineering: Strong background in Linux system configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities and organizational skills.
