Senior Software Team Leader - C# / .net.core

One of our clients, a start-up specializing in quantum encryption, is in search of a Senior Software Team Leader with expertise in .NET Core and ASP.NET.

The company is developing a multidisciplinary product (an integrated hardware/software system) that operates on the cloud, with web-based access. We are seeking a Team Leader to spearhead the development of the system's management software.

The system is a hardware-software hybrid, so understanding the interfacing with multidisciplinary products would be advantageous (though not mandatory).

The company is in its early stages, currently comprising 12 members. Initially, you will begin with a team of two senior developers and an outsourcing team. As the company grows, so will the team.

In this role, you will report to the VP of Development. Given that their expertise lies in hardware, you will be the senior figure in software, making all related decisions in this domain. As the Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of software, leading both a professional in-house team and subcontractors to address the complex development needs of the product.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a full-stack software team, emphasizing product excellence and personal development.
• Maintain close cooperation with subcontractors to ensure effective communication and alignment with the project.
• Directly engage with the code, providing both guidance and hands-on expertise.
• Oversee the development of the product's embedded systems, which will be outsourced, ensuring quality and integration with the overall system.
• Lead the design and architecture of the product, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and robustness.
• Conduct code reviews for junior developers, offering constructive feedback and mentorship to foster their growth.
• Manage task assignments and priorities, making strategic decisions on technology choices and the product's evolutionary roadmap

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading software teams.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, .net core , ASP.NET
• Experience with establishing CI/CD workflows
• Experience with developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles, HTML 5, JS, REST/JSON, and frameworks like React.
