Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Patent Attorney/Patent Agent located in Haifa/Tel-Aviv, with flexibility for some remote work. The Patent Attorney/Patent Agent will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day tasks associated with patent applications, drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications, as well as validity searches, analyzing prior art, and providing opinions. The Patent Attorney/Patent Agent will also work closely with clients in-house and on-the-ground to develop and execute intellectual property strategies, and advise on portfolio development, management, and monetization.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or similar disciplines
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field, with a strong preference for candidates who have gained this experience from recognized firms
• Licensed to practice before one of the following PTO USA/IL/EU or other known PTO
• Experience in working with a medical device companies is a plus
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procedures related to patent prosecution, in Israel, US, and EU
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage a large and complex patent prosecution docket
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with a focus on providing excellent client service
• Fluency in English is required
