Junior Automation Engineer

Duality's Tel Aviv office is actively seeking a part-time Automation Engineer student (50%-60% scope of employment). This opportunity is suitable for students who have completed at least two years of studies and have a minimum of one year remaining in their program.

In this role, you'll have the chance to acquire valuable experience in improving our software quality and development processes.  This position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools using Python.
• Working with the development team to understand software requirements and contributing to formulating test strategies and plans.
• Executing automated tests to validate software functionality and performance.
• Conducting back-end/front-end testing to ensure system integrity and performance.
• Utilizing database skills to verify data integrity and effectively interact with databases during testing processes.

What would make you a great fit?

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field. (Must)-  with completion of at least two years of study.
• Basic knowledge of Python, Java, C#, or equivalent programming languages. (Must)
• Familiarity with Page Object Model infrastructure is a plus. (Desirable)
• Exposure to REST APIs and CI/CD tools like GitHub is an advantage. (Desirable)
• Experience with QA software testing or QA automation tools like Playwright and Selenium is a plus. (Desirable)
• Understanding of database management and operations is a plus. (Desirable)
• Keen interest in learning QA processes, including test case planning, feature ownership, automation reporting and triage, bug reporting, and conducting regression & isolation tests. (Desirable)
