We are looking for a for a talented and creative lead with extensive experience developing creative, thoughtful, innovative solutions that contribute to world class technical capabilities and performance. As a creative lead, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations that meet the visual standards and requirements of our projects. Your role will extend beyond traditional design and art creations and will include defining the strategy for the organization, UI/UX expertise, leadership in design processes, and integration of AI procedures while aligning design initiatives with the organization's values. It will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring creative visions to life through 3D art.

FSM Technical Skills and Capabilities organization provides technical learning solutions to thousands of technicians, engineers and supervisors at Intel's manufacturing sites. Team's scope includes driving the learning experience into the future by exploring and utilizing new technologies such as AI, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and more This is a global position and Hybrid model applies.

Summary

Job Scope

As a technology creative lead, you will work closely with a range of local and global roles such as Instructional designers, Project managers, subject matter experts etc.... to design and deliver the best learning solutions utilizing the most advanced technologies ensuring they meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining and executing the creative strategy to ensure high quality learning deliverables
• 3D Modeling and Texturing: Create detailed and visually appealing 3D models, textures, and materials for use in projects across different platforms.
• Animation and Rigging: Develop animations and rig characters, objects, and environments to bring them to life in various applications.
• Concept Interpretation: Interpret and translate concepts and ideas into visually compelling 3D assets that align with project requirements.
• Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with other team members to iterate on and refine 3D assets based on feedback and creative direction.
• Optimization: Ensure the efficiency and optimization of 3D assets for performance across different platforms and applications.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy that aligns with the overall organization's objectives.
• Insert UI/UX principles into the design process to enhance the user experience of training materials.
• Research and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of 3D asset creation.
• Explore and implement AI procedures to enhance the effectiveness and personalization of training materials.
• Lead initiatives to improve the overall usability and visual appeal of training resources.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, or ZBrush, and familiarity with texture painting tools like Substance Painter or Mari.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations.
• Knowledge of animation principles, rigging, textures and character/creature creation.
• Strong understanding of lighting, shading, and rendering techniques.
• Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies and learning concepts.
• Strong computing background (with ability to do basic troubleshooting and solve problems on the fly)
• Familiar with new innovative technology (e.g., VR, AR, Mixed Reality) as a means to improve learning retention preferred.
• Familiarity with Mobile device app installations/provisioning and software tools like Microsoft end-point configuration manager or Intune.
• Familiarity with Mixed Reality concepts, (Knowledge of Microsoft HoloLens is an advantage)
• Familiarity with video and 3D Video.
• Ability to impact strategic direction and changes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

• BA or BS Degree in Fine Arts, Computer Graphics, Animation, Creative design, Graphic design or similar
• 5+ years of experience as a 3D Artist, preferably in gaming, animation, or visual effects.
• Experience with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge in optimizing CAD models.
• Experience in effectively writing/creating multiple, complex training assets for a variety of learning delivery methods.
• Experience working in a global business environment preferred.
• UI/UX design experience and demonstrated knowledge.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (Python, MEL, or MAXScript).
• Specialization in a specific area of 3D art (environment, character, props, etc.).
• Experience in VR/AR development or architectural visualization.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
