Import/Export Coordinator
Coordinate a team of Suppliers, Warehouse Employees and Forwarders, that are responsible for the physical and systematic activities (dock activity, packing, pick, shipment etc.), while identifying, resolving, or elevating issues in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with all regulations and procedures, and partner with Quality function as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Import & Export documentation. Responds to internal and external customer requests. Assists staff with problem solving, inquiries and handles escalated issues.
- Coordinate Pick up by shipping company for local and abroad.
- Collaboration with Forwarder for customs release of goods
- Track Shipment Status
- Respond to internal and external customer and supplier requests.
- Investigate and resolve errors that occur between sites, Such as short ships over ships etc…
- Support with NCEP investigations and risk assessments by retrieving necessary information to complete the prevention.
- Identify and implement process improvements. Use of computers, printers, and other equipment as required. Lifting, bending, reaching, pulling, standing, and turning required throughout the day.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in Import & Export shipment handling – Must
- Experience in Import of Medical Devices – Advantage
- Professional English in writing - Must
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge and experience with Excel
- Open minded and willingness to adapt new processes.
