About the role:

CalCom is currently seeking a talented Content Writer to join our dynamic Marketing team. In this key role, you will work closely with the Marketing Director taking a central role in crafting and overseeing our Content and SEO initiatives. Your success in this position will be contingent on your proficiency in creating and implementing high-quality content pieces that align with our overall marketing objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to our brand's online presence and audience engagement.

As part of the role you will have the opportunity to:

·      Create quality content based on the company’s marketing strategy with a strong emphasis on SEO and SERP optimization.

·      Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to optimize content pieces that improve search engine rankings.

·      Create compelling and informative content, including articles, blog posts, datasheets, and white papers, adhering to SEO best practices.

·      Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to align content strategies with overall content objectives.

·      Conduct research on industry trends, topics, and target audience preferences to inform content creation.

·      Stay informed about industry developments and emerging topics to keep content relevant and engaging.

·      Conduct regular content audits to assess performance and identify areas for improvement in content effectiveness.

Requirements

• Prior experience in academic writing and research
• Native English level – a must
• Experience in B2B Content writing and editing- Preferred
• SEO and web traffic metrics knowledge – preferred
• Enjoy writing with an emphasis on research
• An editorial mindset and ability to understand audience preferences.
• Familiarity with the American market.
• Experience in producing text and video content.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• No stranger to WordPress – an advantage.
