Quality Assurance Technical Lead

We are on the hunt for a dedicated Automation Tech Lead to spearhead our software and quality engineers within the R&D teams.

The role will include leading and mentoring a team of software and quality engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, and ensuring seamless communication, synchronization of efforts, and sharing of best practices across regions. Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to design, develop, and implement a wide array of tests. Oversee the defect management process, ensuring timely identification, tracking, and resolution of issues. Oversee and give the final go/no-go for product releases, ensuring that the product meets the required quality. Ensure that testing environments are set up accurately and maintained, simulating real-world scenarios for accurate testing. Ensure comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, defect reports, and other relevant metrics for future reference. Analyze and review current testing processes, making recommendations and driving initiatives for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in leading QA as a technical leader or as a team leader/manager with hands-on responsibility - a must.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and the software development lifecycle - a must.
• Hands-on experience with scripting/programming skills (i.e. coding in a programming or scripting language, e.g. Python, Bash, Go, JavaScript, Groovy, etc.)
• Proficient in test planning, test design, and test implementation across various types of testing, including functional testing and non-functional testing - a must.
• Experience in server-side and UI testing.
• Experience with DevOps tools like GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS managed service.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms, namely GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, and Oracle Cloud - a must.
• Familiarity with VMware Tanzu TAS (Tanzu Application Service) - an advantage.
• Proficiency in managing and working with various platforms, including Openshift, Windows, Azure, EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud), EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), GCP (Google Cloud Platform), TAS (Tanzu Application Service), Fargate, and more - an advantage.
• Extensive experience working in a multi-cloud environment - an advantage.
• Cloud and/or agent security experience - an advantage.
• Experience working with international teams - an advantage.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Innovative with excellent problem-solving skills.
