Data Management and Software Engineering - Student Position

X-trodes, a vibrant digital health company, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Management and Software Engineering Intern to join our team.

• Part time student position (50%)
  
  

• Assist with data organization and management tasks, such as data cleaning, transformation, and validation.
• Develop and test software components for data pipelines and data processing tasks.
• Work with the R&D, Support, and Data Science teams to understand data needs and implement solutions.
• Conduct research and stay up to date on the latest data management and software engineering trends and technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of code quality.
• Document your work clearly and concisely.
  
  

• Second or third-year students majoring in computer science or electrical engineering program with a software engineering orientation with at least 1 year remaining before graduation.
• Strong understanding of data management concepts and principles.
• Proficiency in Python. Experience with other programming languages is a plus.
• Experience with data analysis tools and libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy).
• Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).
• Excellent inter-personal communications, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Experience with cloud providers like AWS - Advantage
• Experience working with Dockers and Git - Advantage
• Experience with Front End development (ReactJS) - Advantage
