Contract Technical Writer

Tenable Cloud Security is looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Technical Writer to create user-friendly documentation for a cutting-edge cybersecurity product. Responsibilities:

- Work with the product and engineering teams to document features and products

- Research, write, and maintain product documentation, including weekly release notes

- Make the technical details of features easy to understand

- Become an expert in relevant product areas, capable of assessing the documentation impact of new features while experimenting with dev environments

- Participate in the review process of product microcopy/UX writing, providing feedback and suggestions to improve clarity, accuracy, and user experience.

What you bring:

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Proven ability to write about highly-technical subjects

- 3+ years of experience in a product documentation role

- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, independent, and hardworking, with the ability to adapt to dynamic project requirements and priorities

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to comprehend complex concepts and translate them into clear and concise documentation

- Inquisitive mindset with a willingness to ask questions and seek clarification

- Proficiency in using documentation tools to create visually appealing and interactive documentation.

- Experience with UX writing

- Experience in cloud security is a plus
