Product and Content Designer - Wix Studio (Temp Role)

Job Description

Are you a passionate designer, obsessed about design tools and their functionality, with a flair for pushing design boundaries and a deep understanding of website creation tools? Join the Wix Studio Editor Design Team, a dynamic group of creative professionals dedicated to enhancing Wix Studio Editor and making it the ultimate website builder for professionals.

• Collaborate with fellow designers, the UX team, product managers, dev & engineering, and many other departments, working to build amazing products
• Use your expertise in visual design research and implementation to create, evaluate, and communicate the best design decisions for the company
• Integrate your perspective as a designer into every product discussion
• Design, plan, and build our content offerings (Designed Sections etc.)
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• An expert in graphic content design, market research, and visual trends
• Proficient in design software including Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Confident using Wix Editor and proficient with Wix Studio Editor
• Understanding and dedication to the content-centered design process
• Willingness to work hard and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to create working relationships with various professionals across Wix
• A great team player, who’s cool, patient, and respectful of teammates’ work
• Basic knowledge of Velo and our competitors - an advantage
  
  
  

About The Team

We are the Wix Studio team. We recently launched Wix Studio Editor, and we’re currently in the process of making it better. Much better. We, as part of the Editor team, are constantly working on new features and improvements, such as site layout tools, making every added element responsive, creating site themes, AI features, improving the general editing experience, and much more.

Some of our most important features are Designed Sections and wireframes, which help our users build their sites quickly and efficiently, and inspire them with beautiful modern designs. We’re constantly enriching our premade section offering and Wireframe Sections, which allow a new flow of site creation, using readymade presets categorized by layout intent. The style will be true to a design system to make sure any presets match each other in terms of layout, alignment, typography, and hierarchy.
