Writer/Editor

We’re seeking a motivated, high-performance individual to join the team as a full-time Writer/Editor.

Location - Jerusalem (Hybrid)

• Based in Israel and willing to travel to our central Jerusalem office at least once a week or more – a must

Editorial skills/ needs

• English-language writing at editorial level – A MUST (please submit writing samples for application to be considered)
• Firm grasp of Israel-related diplomatic/policy issues (e.g. Israeli-Palestinian conflict, relationships with foreign governments/UN, BDS, Iran, etc...)
• Comprehensive knowledge of news outlets/sources with an emphasis on US media and current affairs
• Strong ability to research relevant information
• 2+ years of journalism/editing experience preferred
• Scriptwriting – Ability to take complex ideas and transform them into concise, compelling, narrative-driven scripts for carousels or videos.

Technical skills

• Social media savvy with the ability to create cross-platform posts (X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) -- A MUST
• Familiarity with WordPress – a plus

• Ability to recognize trending topics and pertinent ideas
• Comfortable juggling multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently
