R&D Engineer

Position of an R&D Engineer, The R&D Engineer is responsible for setting up and managing wastewater technologies development projects.

The position location is mainly in Akko and Tirat Carmel and periodically extends to other locations in Israel.

You will be part of the process team, reporting to Head of Process and R&D - wastewater.

Main interfaces in the company are with the process team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Receive assignments from Head of Process and R&D

Manage R&D projects including:

Literature review

Setting up development program including budget and schedule

Lead design and construction of pilot plants

Set up sampling programs

Operate pilot plants

Follow up on project budget and time schedule

Write periodic and summary reports

Conducts sampling and lab tests based on ISO standards

In charge of analysis equipment inventory

In charge of equipment maintenance and calibration

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental / Chemical / Water / Civil Engineering.

Site experience in water/wastewater facilities - 2 years min.

English level – Expert / High level of English.

Other languages – advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently.

Experience in writing Grant applications - advantage
