Database Administrator

Commit Data is looking for a DBA to maintain the integrity, performance, security, and availability of data systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining databases, troubleshooting any issues on behalf of users, and developing processes for optimization and improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage database systems, including backup, replication and other processes.
• Implement changes to the database structure, as necessary.
• Troubleshoot any issues with the databases.
• Provide technical support to users in regards to database access and other related issues.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
• Develop processes for optimization and improvement.
• Document database information, including schemas, table structures, and dependencies.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Expert knowledge of MSSQL and relational databases.
• Proficiency with database management tools.
• Solid understanding of database security.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
