What You Can Expect

• Design, deploy, and maintain Linux-based systems to meet the company's operational requirements.
• Build automation to enhance operations activities on-prem and in the cloud.
• Work closely with the R&D teams to understand their environment, tools, and requirements.
• Collaborate with IT cross-functional teams to integrate AWS services and solutions into the company's infrastructure.
• Take an active role in the migration of engineering systems from on-prem to the cloud.
• Configure and troubleshoot complex compute infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Linux systems, networking configurations, storage setups, and AWS deployments.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Linux, networking, storage, and AWS to propose and implement innovative solutions.
• Support HPC environment with UGE/LFS scheduler on-prem and in the cloud
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Arts, or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience.
• Proven experience working with Linux operating systems and related technologies.
• Proven experience working with Linux shell script, ansible, and other scripting languages.
• Proven experience developing automation for Linux environments.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker, K8s, Artifactory, Git
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with various storage technologies, NAS, NFS, CIFS, and their implementation in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, SG, VPC, and IAM, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Industry certifications in networking Linux or AWS will be an added advantage.
• Very good English, reading, writing, and speaking is mandatory.
