The Position
OPSWAT is looking for a seasoned Sales Engineer who can help build our business in Israel. Your primary role is to expand the footprint of OPSWAT’s customer base primarily by driving new business development activities and the recruitment and management of a value-added channel ecosystem. The Sales Engineer will facilitate resolution of partner/customer issues, manage the engagements between the partners and/or customers and internal groups such as Product Management and Engineering, ensure that prospective customers and partners understand how OPSWAT solutions can meet their security requirements, and help improve the customer experience both pre-and post-sale.
The ideal candidate will be able to develop new business in a previously touched market as well as the ability to conduct technical presentations for complex cybersecurity solutions. You will have sales support from the sales and sales engineering team based in Israel.
What You Will Be Doing
- Prospecting and building and scaling a channel ecosystem.
- Using a hunter’s mentality, build a business plan to identify new customers and opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics to sell OPSWAT products, solutions, and services to exceed your sales quotas.
- Communicate value propositions to partners and customers that address needs and requirements.
- Responsible for the end-to-end sales process: identifying opportunities, conducting technical presentation/demos, negotiating, submitting bids, responding to tenders, planning and managing agreements, and closing deals.
- Maintain extensive account and opportunity detail in Salesforce CRM, including account win plans, customer touchpoints, sales inhibitors, etc.
- Forecast and report revenue projections accurately to management.
- 5+ years sales engineering experience or experience in a technical sales role with at least 1 year of security and/or enterprise software sales (extra points for experience selling cyber security solutions for larger companies).
- Proficiency in English and local languages.
- Ability to sell complex technical solutions to enterprise customers and consistently meet revenue objectives.
- Proven experience in IT/Cyber/Cloud sales – CDR experience is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills - must be able work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
- Self-motivated with a winning attitude, highly competitive, ramp quickly, are extremely adaptive, and pride in exceeding sales goals.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
