Board Design Engineer

Get SAT is seeking a Board Design Engineer to contribute to our high speed complex designs. This is an opportunity to become a member of a dynamic, well-respected team.

The candidate who joins our team will have a significant impact and help drive the Get SAT development team to success by collaborating and participating in our product design and new developments.

In this role, you will:

• Develop cutting-edge PCB digital, and analog circuits for SATCOM technology.
• Be involved in all aspects of satellite terminal design, including mechanical, thermal, signal integrity, electrical, etc.
• Design, analyze, and build board-level digital/analog boards
• Support engineers in troubleshooting failures
• Perform complicated reworks and/or modifications of circuit boards

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in board design
• Experience in design and schematics of complex digital circuits with FPGAs, MCU, and communication interfaces
• Experience in the design, simulation, and layout consideration of mixed signal circuits
• Hands-on experience in board bring-up and debugging issues
• Experience running manual and automated testing and fuzzing tools
• Wiring and cabling capabilities
• Experience in VHDL and Verilog – an advantage
• Knowledge in SoC architecture and networking protocols – an advantage
