System Engineer

Job Description

Be part of the team that defines and leads the system architecture of the company’s Next Generation products, targeted to the wireless Fronthaul and Backhaul markets.

In this role, you will define multi-disciplinary system architecture and requirements from both a macro and micro point of view.

The System Engineer is a center piece position in a multidisciplinary R&D organization, he is the technical lead for all matters related to system design and considerations in new and existing products.

• Define Hardware, Firmware, and Software requirements, and participate with the design teams in implementation and with the testing teams in verification.
• Analyze and suggest architecture alternatives.
• Understand and analyze customer needs and market trends.
• Support field trials, customer surveys, technical support, and production processes
  
  

• B.Sc in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience as a System Engineer of a multidisciplinary product..
• Experience with system design from concept to a complete product.
• Experience in defining SW, HW, and FW requirements and accompany design teams – a must.
• Experience in logic design (FPGA and/or ASIC).
• Experience with hands-on integration / implementation of systems – a must.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary products/systems – a must.
• Experience in analyzing architecture alternatives.
• Experience with telecommunication systems – an advantage
• Knowledge in Ethernet, IP, SDN, Synchronization, TDM systems – an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork, ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment.
• Self-learner. Ability to lead new projects from start to finish.
• Ability to guide and support other engineers.
• Creative, innovative, willing and able to absorb and share knowledge and ideas.
• Customer-oriented.
• Managerial skills – an advantage
